No extra hand. No crowded subdial. A shaped blue-and-white disc turns once every 24 hours beneath the sandwich dial.

The Classic aperture runs through one complete visual tide cycle—high, falling, low and rising—then returns seamlessly to its starting point.

Blue means high waterThe blue crest rises within the aperture as the tide approaches high. White dominates toward low tide.

The center is nowThe tide level at the center of the opening is the current reading—never a generic decorative wave.

Four hours at a glanceThe left and right edges show roughly two hours before and two hours ahead, so the slope reveals whether the tide is rising or falling.

Continuous clockwise motionTwo high and two low cycles are encoded around the 24-hour disc, with a smooth curved transition between every state.
