PIER steps away from the collection’s NH automatics to create a smaller, thinner watch. The dependable VJ24 movement leaves the character to the parts made at the bench: paint, applied markers, the minute frame, and the engraved back.

Assembly architecture
Every layer has a job.
The frame is a separate applied part rather than a conventional inner bezel, creating a clean border around the hand-painted dial while carrying the complete minute track.
Bench work
Four details make it PIER.
Set the axis.
Apply polished batons at twelve, three, and nine, aligned through the hand arbor for a calm rectangular layout.
Shape the signature.
Create a custom polished shell at six, centered on the same vertical axis as the twelve o’clock baton.
Draw the edge.
Fit a thin applied frame with minute indicators as its own layer between the crystal and dial.
